Questions?

Here are some of the most common questions I get about working together.

If you don’t see your question listed or are ready to schedule a free consult, contact me.

  • $200 per 50 minute session.

There are no extra fees based on the number of people in the session. The same fee applies to individual, family, and couple’s sessions.

If you feel you would like a longer session time, this can be accommodated on an individualized basis. Discuss this with me before starting therapy.

I ask that all my clients leave a card on file for payments, so that our time in session can be exclusively dedicated to the therapeutic work.

  • No. I made a deliberate choice not to accept insurance within my practice. This decision is rooted in my commitment to providing you with the highest level of care and personalized support. Here's why:

    1. Personalized Care: I believe in tailoring your therapy journey to your unique needs. Insurance restrictions can limit the range of therapeutic approaches available and the time needed for effective healing.

    2. Confidentiality: I prioritize your privacy. Insurance often involves sharing diagnosis and treatment details that become a permanent part of your medical record, potentially compromising your confidentiality.

    3. Therapeutic Relationship: Your trust in me is vital. Insurance requirements for detailed treatment plans and progress reports can disrupt the natural flow of therapy and impact our focus on your well-being.

    4. Freedom of Choice: I think you should have the freedom to choose a therapist who resonates with you. Insurance networks restrict your options, while I am committed to providing a personalized fit.

    5. Uninterrupted Focus: By not navigating insurance demands, we can focus entirely on your growth and healing, crafting a treatment plan that revolves around your goals, not those dictated by an insurance company.

I understand that finances are a consideration, and I am here to discuss alternative options that ensure you receive the support you need. Your well-being is my top priority, and I’m dedicated to providing you with exceptional care.

  • Online therapy, also known as teletherapy or telehealth, allows you to engage in therapy sessions from the comfort of your own space using secure video conferencing tools. It offers flexibility and convenience.

  • The number of sessions varies based on your individual circumstances and goals. Some people find short-term therapy beneficial, while others engage in longer-term therapy for more complex issues.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, I ask that you provide me with 24 hours notice. If you miss a session without cancelling, or cancel with less than 24 hours notice, my policy is to collect the cost of session.
